Shalom Village Shem Tov Nominee Enid Aaron

Enid Aaron has been part of the Shalom Village volunteer team since 2010. For more than nine years, Enid has volunteered on a weekly basis in the Club Fitness Centre working with a variety of participants. These participants of various ethnic backgrounds come from community, adult day program, assisted living and long-term care settings. Each participant brings a different degree of challenge and difficulty, which Enid handles with care and compassion on a consistent basis. Enid’s communication with all individuals is exceptional as she connects on a personal level with participants she is assisting.

Additionally, Enid has volunteered with Shalom Village’s Hustle4Health fundraiser, assisting and cheering residents along the race course. After the race, she helps residents get their food and socializes with them and the other participants of the race, helping enrich their sense of purpose.

Enid is consistent, reliable and passionate about health and fitness, and a dedicated volunteer. She helps people feel like they belong by asking questions to learn more and connect with people to develop strong rapport and trust. Enid is truly an amazing volunteer and Shalom Village is delighted to recognize her by nominating her for a Shem Tov award.
