Israel's Consul General to Toronto and Western Canada, DJ Schneeweiss, visited Hamilton's Beth Jacob Synagogue on March 11 to discuss Israel in our community. Schneeweiss moved to Canada in August 2012, having previously served as Director of Civil Society Affairs in Israel’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Israel's Deputy Ambassador to China, and Policy Advisor to Foreign Minister Silvan Shalom. Our own Wendy Schneider was granted an exclusive interview with Schneeweiss following the talk.
