It has been an incredible year for Jewish teens in Hamilton. Looking back at the past year, it is easy to see why our local teens are so enthusiastic—and looking ahead, the coming year promises to be our most exciting one yet.

Last year’s calendar was absolutely packed with unforgettable moments. Our local Hamilton Shabbatons provided fully immersive Shabbat experiences, complete with meaningful discussions, beautiful singing, and delicious meals. Each Shabbat experience culminated in high-energy group outings, including an epic afternoon at the Flying Squirrel trampoline park. We also hosted warm, welcoming Friday night Shabbat dinners and thrilled our teens with classic social outings like escape rooms, bowling, and the action-packed challenges at Activate.

Of course, one of the biggest highlights of the year was our flagship weekly Learn N Earn program. Every week, teens gathered for authentic Torah learning paired with a fresh pizza dinner. For spending 45 minutes diving into Jewish wisdom, they earned $10 per session, which was followed by another 45 minutes of fun group activities. The program was a massive success, with some of our most dedicated teens earning over $200 throughout the year! We wrapped up the main season with a massive end-of-year BBQ and patio party extravaganza.

But the excitement didn’t stop when school let out. This summer, we hosted a three-week teen summer camp with, creating unforgettable memories with high-octane activities like tubing down the Grand River, rock climbing, and more.

If you thought last year was incredible, get ready—because this year is going to be bigger and better. We are expanding our signature Learn N Earn program to reach even more teens, scheduling more local Shabbatons, hosting more frequent Friday night dinners, and lining up a brand-new array of thrilling social outings and trips.
